UPDATE 22/9/24 – Massive thanks to everyone who took park in the sponsored walk. Fortunately the morning’s rain didn’t hang around to affect the walkers. The three groups took around an hour to complete the Cissbury Ring-Hill Barn adventure.
Everyone enjoyed the BBQ afterwards and even the actual Spiderman turned up for a bit.
The day after the event, the gofundme website donated total was standing at £4,760 with around another £1,000 from the post-walk BBQ event to be added.
Club Chairman Jason Nicholls said, “We achieved our £5k total from the sponsored walk so thanks to everyone taking part. We still have a long way to go to reach our £30k total for the complete clubhouse project. But stage 1 complete and we move forwards.”
The next event will be a Christmas raffle with cash and other prizes. More info for members and parents soon.

Why have we done this event?
Worthing United Youth do not have access to suitable changing, toilet and shower facilities. We are undertaking an ambitious project to replace the pavillion at Hill Barn.
