Info for Wembley Parents

Here is some information for you for the Wembley trip …

We will meet at Worthing College, Sanditon Way, Worthing BN14 9FD (opposite Hill Barn football pitches) at 1.15pm. Free parking will be available at the college for everyone. If you are getting dropped off, there is a special drop-off / pick-up area clearly signposted at the college..

There will be seven coaches in total departing Worthing College at 1.30pm.

Please note – coaches will not wait for people turning up late – so please arrive at 1.15pm.

Each person has now been allocated a coach number and been set up on each coach’s whatsapp group. Please note – You will not be able to switch coaches. If you have any issues getting to Worthing College on time please communicate with your coach’s whatsapp group.

Also if you need someone to be added to your coach’s whatsapp group, please post on the group and we’ll make sure they’re added ASAP.

Things to Bring on the Trip

  • Something to keep your children amused during the coach journey
  • Most coaches have DVD players so maybe worth bringing a film or two (you can discuss movie options in your whatsapp groups)
  • Food & Drink for the coach journey
(Please note – you can’t take food/drink into Wembley but can be left on the coach)
  • Debit/Credit card/Phone Payment – cash is not always accepted so please have other form of payment
  • Warm Clothes (Wembley can be cold no matter what the weather is like)
  • Glasses – if you need glasses to see distance bring them!

Each coach has a Coach Leader to take the register of those on-board. Your tickets will also be waiting for you on your coach. Each coach will have a toilet on board.

Wembley Stadium has a maximum size of bag policy… click this link for more info

Bags can be left on the coaches but please take all your valuables with you.

On Arrival at Wembley Stadium

Kick off is 5.30pm. Coaches are scheduled to arrive at Wembley between 4pm-4.30pm to allow plenty of time for everyone to get into the ground and find their seats.

Please remember where your coach is parked so you can return quickly after the match.

It is always good to get into the ground at least 45 mins before kick-off in case its really busy and you want to get food, drinks, visit to toilet, etc, in the stadium before the game starts.

Where to sit inside Wembley stadium

It is important for you to know this info ahead of the trip – when we book group Wembley tickets they give us two block bookings of tickets. For this match – 187 youth tickets in one big block and 175 adults tickets in another block. This clearly doesn’t work because we as parents need to sit with or near their children for obvious reasons.

So each person will receive an envelope with their Wembley match tickets to get into Wembley Stadium and a separate note explaining which seats to sit in. This will allow parents/children to sit together in your various age groups..

We have already shared the seat layout for Block 536 inside Wembley showing which age groups are in which seats/rows. So long as each team sits in their allocated section within Block 536 everyone will be happy. Your coach leader will explain this to you on the coach.

After the match

After the final whistle, we want everyone to visit the toilet before heading back to the same coach number as before. Your coach will leave as soon as everyone is back on board.

The coaches will arrive back at Worthing College sometime between 10pm-10.30pm. The college car park will be locked overnight so you can leave your car at the college car park and collect the following day (from 8am-4pm) if you wish.

If you have any questions please share on your whatsapp group. Feel free to share any photos you have taken during the trip on the whatsapp group.
